SCHOOL HISTORY

Our story begins with the vision and passion of our founder and principal, Mrs. Emma Kakona, born in Karasburg, Namibia. What started as a small after-school care center for children in need of qualified supervision blossomed into something extraordinary.

From 1998, Mrs. Kakona provided private tutoring at her home, driven by her love for teaching and nurturing young minds. By 2007, this heartfelt vocation evolved into the establishment of our school, with the vision of creating a Christian school with a difference.

We started small, introducing Pre-Primary with just three learners. By the end of that very first year, the number had grown to 33, a testament to the strong foundation and care we offered.

Today, AKPSA has grown to serve over 800 students, from Grade 00 to Grade 12, all thriving in an environment where academic excellence meets moral and spiritual growth. What began as a dream is now a thriving school community shaping the leaders of tomorrow!

We offer quality education for Pre-Primary (ages 3-5), Primary Grade 1-7 and Junior Secondary Grade 8-12. We will have the last phase of Senior Secondary Education Grade 11-12.
